Noise Discipline Another thing to consider is noise discipline. Does your bug out bag make a lot of noise? What movements are you making that are generating noise as you walk? You don’t want to attract more attention than necessary. While you are hiking, focus on noise and see what you can do to reduce the sound generated by your bug out bag. While bugging out, you are not a super stealthy ninja. But you do want to get where you are going without being noticed.
