49 The perfect piece of gear The perfect piece of gear is actually a combination of gear. You should always have a knife on you. You should always have a flashlight on you. You should always have a gun on you. These things are not as useful when separated from each other! Always have gun, knife, and flashlight with you at all times if it is legal for you to do so.
